Mitra10 is a building-home materials and home equipment retailer whose vision is to create a clean and comfortable shopping place and atmosphere with a one-stop shopping concept. Mitra10 has been working with cmlabs to optimize technical SEO on their website since June 2023. Learn Mitra10 and cmlabs’ journey below.
At first, the Mitra10 blog could not be read by Google. After conducting an in-depth analysis, on October 18, 2023, our SEO Specialist team discovered the fact that Mitra10’s blog used CSR rendering. Then, we carried out live test validation on GSC, Code Beautify, and Screaming Frog. As a result, the Mitra10 blog can only be read in its skeleton.
Mitra10’s product naming categories are not optimal, despite their neat structure. This was due to their naming using English, instead of Indonesian, the language which their target market uses.
Because Mitra10 has its own Website Developer team, cmlabs contributed more in analyzing and suggesting to change the rendering from CSR to SSR.
We name the category in Indonesian and according to SEO best practices by considering the intent and search volume of each keyword.
After collaborating with us, Mitra10's organic blog traffic has increased 139.53% up to January 2024. In the same month, blogs contributed as much as 20% of Mitra10's total monthly traffic, after only contributing less than 2% from 2022 to October 2023.
The efforts we made for Mitra10 produced significant results, namely the increase of market share from 0.03% to 1.99% within 4 months of collaboration. Not only that, the Mitra10 website also managed to rank 5th for brand position.
After the cmlabs team carried out programmatic SEO, Mitra10 succeeded in increasing conversions by more than 40% in 8 months compared to the previous period.
Mitra10 acquired an average rank of 47.33 based on data from Sequence Stat. Despite having a suboptimal average rank, Mitra10 is still able to compete fiercely with big e-commerce in Indonesia, which is shown in the Brand Position and Market Share information below.
Mitra10 sat in the top 5 positions on the brand position based on data from Sequence Stat, fighting big e-commerces with a well-built SEO approach. We can achieve it from the commercial keyword of Mitra10’s website.
In line with brand position, Mitra10 achieved a rapid increase in market share thanks to more optimal content pillars and optimization activities, especially in commercial keywords. Mitra10 has become the top tier of large e-commerce in Indonesia.
With 15% perched in the top 3, Mitra10 succeeded in capturing a market share of 1.99% and a brand position in 4th position. This is thanks to our strategy which targets keywords with high search volume and keyword variation (such as keyword permutations).
Based on our assessment of several tools, the Mitra10 blog page has not been rendered correctly so organic traffic is not optimal. After changing rendering from SSR to CSR, the organic traffic skyrocketed. Meanwhile, on the product side, cmlabs is moving by adding SEO Booster, new categories, and branch page activation. As a result, Mitra10 can outperform all direct competitors.
With its characteristics as e-commerce, Mitra10 easily captured keyword permutations (such as Jual Cat, Beli Cat, or Harga Cat) just by optimizing one category page. Because of this, Mitra10's traffic growth could increase.
