cmlabs Becomes the Main Judge of Play IT 2024, a National Competition Event by Polinema!

cmlabs has once again demonstrated its commitment to fostering collaboration with universities in Indonesia. This time, cmlabs played a key role in supporting Play IT 2024, a national competition organized by Politeknik Negeri Malang (POLINEMA), aimed at encouraging creativity and innovation among Indonesia's youth in the field of information technology.

As part of this prestigious event, cmlabs was honored to be selected as one of the main judges, responsible for evaluating the best projects submitted by students from universities across Indonesia.

Held from November 1-3, 2024, Play IT 2024 focused on the theme of sustainable development (SDGs) through technology, under the banner “Competition for Learning and Advancing Youth in Information Technology.” 

The event was open to both university students and high school/vocational students, providing a platform for young Indonesians to showcase innovative solutions while also enhancing their skills to meet the digital challenges of the future.

This year, Play IT 2024 featured three main competition categories: Hackathon Software Development and UI/UX Challenge for university-level participants, and Website Development for high school and vocational students.

Two of our Software Engineering team members participated as judges in Play IT 2024, assessing the quality, creativity, and impact of each project submitted in two separate competitions: the Hackathon Software Development and UI/UX Challenge.
