Copilot Pro Now Available for iOS and Android

Microsoft recently unveiled Copilot Pro, the premium paid version of its Copilot service, formerly known as Bing Chat. This paid version offers a range of features and enhancements not available in the free version.

Previously, users of the free version had complained about Copilot downgrades during peak seasons. However, these complaints have been addressed by Microsoft representatives.

According to Mikhail Parakhin, Microsoft confirmed that the presence of Copilot Pro does not make the Copilot app worse. However, Copilot Pro does offer several advantages that premium users can enjoy.

1. Unified AI Experience

One of Copilot Pro's main features is a unified AI experience that can run across all user devices. With this feature, Copilot can understand user queries across devices such as desktops and mobile phones.

 

2. Access to Microsoft Office Apps

Copilot Pro also offers access to Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote apps on PC, Mac, and iPad for Microsoft 365 Personal and Family customers.

This advantage allows users to operate Copilot to perform productive tasks such as writing, making presentations, and managing emails.

 

3. Faster Performances

Additionally, Copilot Pro also offers access to the latest OpenAI models, such as GPT-4 and GPT Turbo. These models are designed to provide faster responses with better quality than previous models.

 

4. Enhanced AI Image Creation

Copilot Pro also offers enhanced AI image creation with Image Creator from Designer (formerly Bing Image Creator).

This feature allows users to create AI images quickly and easily without any usage limits.

 

5. Custom GPT Creation

Lastly, Copilot Pro allows users to create their own custom Copilot GPT. With this feature, users can customize Copilot GPT for specific topics through the Copilot Builder Tool.

According to a survey carried out by Barry Schwartz, a significant 67.4% of respondents opted against subscribing to Copilot Pro at the monthly fee of $20. However, it's important to note that this survey lacks specific reasons, making it insufficient to gauge the popularity of Copilot Pro.

Copilot Pro may not have won over everyone. However, for users looking for a comprehensive and flexible Copilot experience across all their devices, Copilot Pro could be an option.
